Creekside Market is a locally-owned and operated grocery store at the base of Whistler Mountain. We are constantly looking to add to our roster of hard-working, dedicated team members, many of whom are long-term locals who have been with the company for years.
Part time or full time shifts are available in all departments. The market offers a competitive wage, flexible shifts, recreational perks, health and RRSP benefits and the all-important discount on groceries.
Wages start at $18.25-$24 per hour depending on experience (minimum age 14 years old). No experience necessary, we will train for the right fit. Cross-training in other departments available for further training and development. If you have experience and wanting to help lead our Team, we are also looking to fill some supervisor / shift manager positions for all departments. Wages for these role positions range from $24-$28.
Staff housing available for full-time employees (depending on availability, minimum 1-year contract).

Full Time
Duties include (but are not limited to):

Cut, trim and package meat for consumer purchase.

Ensure meat quality and maintain sanitation standards.

Advise customers on meat selection and preparation.

Supervise, direct work or train meat-cutters/ clerks.
Qualifications & Wage:

Previous meat-cutting experience preferred.

Department Supervisor
PRODUCE
Full Time
Duties include (but are not limited to):

Supervise and coordinate produce clerks
-
Assign duties and prepare work schedules
-
Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
-
Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
-
Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
-
Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff and monitor and report on performance
-
Ensure the visual standards and image of the department are maintained, such as displays, signage and cleanliness
-
May perform the same duties as workers supervised
-
May perform key holding and managerial duties, if required.
